Terms of use
These terms apply whenever you use pdftojpg.dev. They are short because the service is simple: free tools that run in your browser, with no accounts and no uploads.
Using the site
pdftojpg.dev is operated by Springtide Labs LLC (Delaware, USA), called pdftojpg.dev, we or us in these terms. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
The service
The tools are free to use. They run in your web browser, and your files are processed on your device rather than on our servers.
We may change, add or remove tools at any time, and we don't promise that any particular tool or feature will stay available.
Your files and your responsibility
You must have the right to open, convert, edit and share the files you use with the site. You are responsible for what you do with the results, including checking them before you rely on them.
Some limits are worth repeating here:
- A white cover box added in the PDF editor hides content on the page but does not remove it from the file.
- A signature added in the PDF editor is an image, not a certified digital signature.
- Compressed PDFs and scanned-look PDFs are made of page images, so their text can no longer be selected or searched.
- Images made to fit a size limit may lose fine detail, so check them before you submit them anywhere.
Acceptable use
- Don't use the site to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights, including copyright and privacy.
- Don't use it to forge documents, or to present a scan-style copy as a scan of a paper original where that difference matters.
- Don't try to disrupt the site, overload it or get around its security measures.
- Don't copy the site's text, design or code to run a service of your own.
No warranty
We offer the site as it is, and as it happens to be available at any moment, with no promises of any kind, stated or implied. We don't guarantee that it will work without interruption, that every file will convert correctly, or that a result will suit your purpose. Results depend on your browser and your device.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or business, that arise from using the site. Because the service is free, our total liability to you for all claims about it is limited to the amount you have paid us for it, which is nothing.
Some places don't allow these limits. Where that is the case, they apply only as far as local law permits, and nothing here takes away rights that law gives you and that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version applies from the day it is posted on this page.
Last updated: October 3, 2026.
