How to convert JPG to PDF
- Drop your images on this page or tap Choose images. Add as many as the document needs.
- Drag the thumbnails into the order you want. Rotate a picture that is sideways, or remove one you don't need.
- Pick a page size: fit each page to its image, or use A4 or Letter, with no margin or a small one.
- Save the PDF. If it has to stay under an upload limit, turn on Keep the PDF under and enter the size first.
Each image becomes one page, in the order shown. There is no account to create and no watermark on the finished PDF.
Images you can turn into a PDF
JPG to PDF is the usual job, but the converter reads more than JPG:
- JPG and JPEG photos and scans
- PNG screenshots and graphics; transparent areas become white
- HEIC and HEIF photos from an iPhone or iPad, decoded inside this page
- WebP, GIF and BMP images
- TIFF files, a format many scanners produce
- AVIF images, in browsers that can open them
Each image can be up to 50 MB and 40 megapixels. iPhones often store photos as HEIC, which plenty of websites refuse. Here those photos go into the PDF like any other picture, with no conversion step on your side.
Does JPG to PDF lose quality?
Not with ordinary JPG and PNG files. They are placed into the PDF exactly as they are, without being compressed a second time, so the pages look as sharp as the photos you started with.
There are two exceptions. A photo that relies on its EXIF orientation tag to appear the right way up, and an image saved in CMYK color, are each redrawn once, upright, before they go in.
Quality only drops if you ask for a smaller file. With Keep the PDF under switched on, image quality is lowered first and resolution second until the PDF fits. In testing, four photos went into a single PDF of no more than 300 KB.
Page size, orientation and margins
- Fit to image: each page takes the size of its picture. Good for photos and screenshots that will be viewed on screen.
- A4 or Letter: standard paper sizes for printing, email attachments and forms. A landscape image gets a landscape page automatically.
- Margin: none, for edge-to-edge pictures, or small, for a thin white border around each one.
Mixing portrait and landscape photos is fine. On A4 or Letter, each page turns to match its picture, so nothing ends up squeezed into the wrong orientation.
Combine photos into a PDF on iPhone or Android
The converter works in a phone browser, so you can turn pictures into a PDF without installing an app. On iPhone or iPad, tap Choose images and pick photos from your library or from the Files app. The PDF saves to the Downloads folder in Files.
On Android, pick images from your gallery or file manager, and the PDF lands in your Downloads folder. Very large photo sets need more memory than some phones have, so if a big batch struggles, split it across two PDFs.
Your photos stay on your device
Pictures of passports, receipts and signed forms are personal. This tool assembles the PDF inside your browser. There is no upload endpoint on the site, which means the images stay on your phone or computer from start to finish.
Before and after the PDF
Need images out of a PDF instead? Convert PDF to JPG on the home page, which saves every page as a picture. To type on the finished file, add a signature or fill in a form, open it in the online PDF editor. If it is still too big for an upload, compress the PDF to a target size.
JPG to PDF questions
Common questions about combining pictures into a single PDF.
How do I convert JPG to PDF for free?
Add your images, put them in order and save. It costs nothing, needs no account, adds no watermark, and the PDF is made in your browser.
How do I combine several JPGs into one PDF?
Select all the images together; each one becomes a page of the same PDF. Drag the thumbnails to set the order, then save.
Can I convert iPhone photos (HEIC) to PDF?
Yes. HEIC and HEIF photos are decoded on this page, so you don't need to turn them into JPGs first.
Will my photos lose quality in the PDF?
No, unless you set a size limit. JPG and PNG files go in unchanged; only photos turned by an EXIF tag and CMYK images are redrawn, once.
How do I make a JPG to PDF file smaller?
Turn on Keep the PDF under and enter a size, such as 300 KB. Image quality is lowered first, then resolution, until the PDF fits.
Can I use A4 or Letter pages?
Yes. Choose A4 or Letter, or fit each page to its image; landscape images get landscape pages on A4 and Letter.
How do I turn the PDF back into JPG images?
Use the PDF to JPG converter on the home page. It saves each page as a JPG, and several pages download together as a ZIP.
